Not only an amazing athlete, but also, a man of honor, grace, and compassion, who stands up for fairness and equality.
His, very public, declaration of support for marriage equality has hugely impacted the timbre of the NFL for generations to come (when there is, no longer, a need for LGBT allies).
You know, i just cannot resist the thought that, in some small way, G-d was pleased by his candor and bold empathy for the "underdog"!
I think that, just maybe, G-d smiled upon him, and his teammates this season! For the manner in which he took courageous public risks of harm to his career, and his legacy--- to be kind, and empathetic, to his fellow human being.
And isn't that what G-d demands of us all?
Congratulations Champions! Thank you Mr Ayanbadejo.
