Well this center, along with a many other states, was assaulted by this rancid bitch of a storm, called "Sandy". The most innocuous, and soothing of names, her bite was far worse than her bark.
In Canada, one life is reportedly lost. In the Caribbean, sixty-seven people died, including 51 in the, already demolished, Haiti. The death toll, at the time of this post, is 97 persons. While any loss of life is horrendous and terrible, I believe that we ended up better than our poor countrymen in New Orleans, punished and murdered by Katrina.
Up and down the the North American, east coast, multiple states (State by State Report) have suffered horrible impacts in Sandy's wake. And the storm's results are still not over. The President of the United States is expected to tour the brutally destroyed state of New Jersey on Wednesday.
