Brief

Born and raised in the northeast, Marcinho Savant has been asked, on more  than one occasion, "Is there anything you haven't done!?".  His simple answer is "of course!  I'm too fat to Bungee jump".

His very first acting role was at the age of nine, playing The Cowardly Lion in "The Wizard of Oz" in the fourth grade play at Eastern Military Academy (Now Oheka Castle).  Not long after that, living back in NYC,  he wrote his first published film review in the New York Amsterdam News and even attended the film's premiere party and interviewed its stars--- before he even entered high school.  These experiences, and a professional singer, radio host and journalist (Entertainment critic) mother, cleared a path of interests which still serves him well today.  Due to his mother's profession, he had many opportunities to be in the same room with such luminaries as George Benson, Mary Lou Williams, Stella Mars, Jon Lucien and dozens of others, growing up.

"One of my favorite moments... sitting at the dinner table at Mr. Duncan's apartment in Manhattan--- dining and conversing, as a kid, with Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara (That's right!!! Ben Stiller's folks!)!!"

He has studied, lived, and performed in a number of different locations, including Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands, the Pacific Northwest, the NY Metro, Delaware, Florida and more.  Trained as an opera singer and recitalist, he has studied at the "Mozarteum" (Salzburg),  Academie Royale de Musique (Brussels), and Westminster Choir College(Princeton, NJ), where he was trained by a pantheon of vocal, coaching and accompaniment superstars of the industry.  He holds diplomas in "Das Deutsche Lied für Sänger und Begleiter" from the Akademie Mozarteum (Schillawsky), and studied German,  German Art History and voice at Salzburg College and the Salzburger Musicschulwerke through the University of Miami School of Music.

He has toured and performed in shows such as "Ain't Misbehavin'", "Five Guys Named Moe", "Sweeney Todd", "Flamingo Follies" and many others.  He has also served as vocal coach and conductor of "A Chorus Line", and has directed "Godspell", "West Side Story" and more.  He has also been a recitalist, concert artist, cabaret singer, voice teacher, repertoire coach, and music festival artistic director.
